URRENT CLASSES

Monday

Astronoesis class(8-10:15 pm, Main Building) This class begins with brief meditation. Currentlywe are focusing on the Orphic Gods through select chapters in Proclus’ Theologyof Plato. After that we hope to return tothe Intellectual-Principle chapter in Astronoesis. We also offer remote participation via Skype. Allare welcome, including occasional attendees. Emerging Teachers of the One (afternoons from 2-4:30,Main Building) We’re reading from I Am That by Nisargadatta Maharaj, going over videos of Nondualteachers (most recently Rupert Spira and Mooji), Adyashanti internet radiobroadcasts, and Eckhart Tolle’s monthly webcast. Gentle Svaroopa Yoga (5:30-7 pm, Main Building) These Svaroopa style Yoga classesare devoted to developing that inner knowing through poses that open andrelease your spine. Wear loose-fitting clothing. Contact Caroline at 379-1800.

Mandukya Upanishad (Sunday evening, Tim and Karen Smith’s home in Burdett)This class is working on the Mandukya Upanishad and Guadapada’s Karika with Shankara’s commentary. This explores the four statesof consciousness. Our starting time alternates every other week, and thegathering includes meditation, plus a dish-to-pass supper every other week.
